Takoma is an outlier that we admired long before his acquisition! The sows behind and ahead of him mature into large, productive females, which is why it is no surprise that he has excelled in generating replacement females. During the 2023 IKHR Royal Christmas Show, Takoma was placed 1st in the aged boar class, and went on to take Grand Champion overall boar under judge Alan Snedegar. As of late 2024, Takoma has over 250 progeny in the IKHR herd book - more documented offspring than that of any other purebred Kunekune boar.
